CLAP Options

CLAPBehaviour script contains several options that will be described below:

  • N Hands: It allows to select 1 or 2 hands (Limited to 1 hand in Lite version)
  • Hand dominant: If the number of hands selected is 1, it is possible to select which hand is simulated with this option.
  • Deformable Mesh Resolution: We have defined three different hand profiles featuring hand models with different resolutions for the simulation of the deformable hand. This is specially useful for matching the performance requirements of the different devices, such as mobile devices and low-end systems in general.
    • High Resolution (Recommended for PC)
    • Mid Resolution (Recommended for Quest 2 and low-end PCs)
    • Low Resolution (Recommended for Quest 1 and Quest 2)
  • Coupling: It enables object-object collision (available in Educational and Pro versions)
  • Compute Interhand Collisions: Enable collision between hands (available in Educational and Pro versions)
  • Add Floor Contact Plane and Contact Planes: It allows to add contact planes to the scene where the simulated Interaction Objects can collide.
  • Debugging options: These options allow the visualization of some components of the hand, such as the bones, the tetrahedral mesh, the contact information, etc. If you want to see any of them, make sure the checkbox ‘Debug’ is enabled.
